Running the Sailing Across!-project is a very complex task.  Preparing the boat, communication with our fans, training in Douarnenez every weekend, participating in the races, it all demands a lot of time.  To be more precise: all of Bert's free time is invested in the project.  And that's actually not enough ...

But luckily, Bert's employer, Soresma comes to the rescue.  Today we can announce that Soresma will support the project in a special but very necessary way! 

Before each race, the boat needs to be sailed to the starting port, the boats need to be prepared, theweather needs to be analysed, the route for the race needs to be planned and so on. A lot of things to do and most of the times, a sailor starts a race with a lot of stress and worries because some apsects of his preparation were not completed or were missing at all!

And let one of the lessons of last weekend's mental preparation course in Douarnenez be, "Take your time to prepare, so you don't have stress or are already exhausted even before you started the race".

Soresma will contribute to this very important aspect and allow us to go through all the necessary steps before the races of 2010. Sailing and working for Soresma will be synchronised and optimised with this good mutual agreement we reached recently.
